At the center of life at Princeton Friends is Settling In, modeled after Quaker Meeting for Worship. Once a week our entire school community gathers in the Princeton Friends 18th-century meetinghouse, sitting together in silence for a period, then listening for the observations, insights, and questions that arise naturally out of thoughtful meditation. The respectful honoring of individual voices that characterizes Settling In is an essential and cherished part of our school.

“Learn to be quiet enough to hear the sound of the genuine within yourself so that you can hear it in other people.”
