Affording Princeton Friends School
Princeton Friends School offers tuition assistance to enable accepted students to enroll regardless of their families’ ability to pay the full cost of tuition. While the admissions process strives to create a student body that is ethnically, socially, and academically diverse, the financial assistance program allows an economically diverse population to attend the school.
Financing the tuition for a Princeton Friends School education is not always easy, but it is possible. There is no specific income level at which a family is no longer eligible for assistance. Tuition assistance is offered to students on the basis of demonstrated financial need and provides grants designed to help bridge the gap between what a family can afford and tuition.
Princeton Friends School partners with School and Student Services (SSS) in our tuition assistance process. We base our determination of financial need on the information provided by families and an analysis provided by SSS.
To begin your application for tuition assistance, you will complete the SSS Parents’ Financial Statement. By submitting a Parents' Financial Statement, you’re granting SSS permission to analyze your financial information. Using their unique methodology, they estimate the amount you can contribute to school expenses.

"I have walked down the Meetinghouse steps many times, often panicking as I’ve contemplated what it would be like to be on this porch, at this moment. Many times the vision would start with me standing before you, speechless, and end with me fearfully running for my life towards the woods. In my last few months at Princeton Friends School I realized it was my 4th grade self running into the distance. I have grown into someone much more courageous than the quiet child I was then.”
