Every Friday, Beginning Schoolers practice a number of yoga postures, working on using their breath to focus their attention while their bodies move. The postures range from gentle stretches to more challenging balances and strength poses, and classes include flowing vinyasa moves to yin yoga and other yoga styles. Each session ends with a short meditation in which they quietly send loving-kindness to themselves, to someone in their homes and families, and then finally to someone else in the class.
