Welcome to the PFS Parent Association!

Every parent and guardian is a vital member of the PFS community.  As a small school we benefit tremendously from a dynamic community of volunteers who donate their time, expertise, imagination and energy to support the students, faculty and staff.  Throughout the history of PFS, parent involvement has been key to the building and success of the school.

We are a small community so all PFS parents are automatically members of the PA. There are many ways to get involved and contribute at a commitment level that fits your schedule and interests from a one-off event to a committee.  Volunteering is a great way to meet other parents, help shape our school environment and enjoy being part of this community. We also have monthly meetings that are open to parents.  We guarantee a good time and a few laughs!

Parent Association Sponsored Events

Hoopla!!!  On the first Friday of the school year, families, faculty and staff gather for a celebration and opportunity to meet new families.

Faculty & Staff Appreciation: In addition to sponsoring two meals and giving holiday gifts, the PA coordinates monthly potluck brunches for the faculty and staff on the first Wednesday of the month.

Frolics for Friends:
Frolics are a long-standing tradition at PFS and involve social gatherings and activities for PFS families outside usual school hours. Past examples include Singing Holiday Carols Frolic in Princeton, An Evening with Music & Wine or Let’s Go Fishing Frolic.

In early November, the PA hosts the Gently Used Sale.  Come score great deals on gently used items from clothes to toys to furniture.  Join us for some bargain hunting in support of the school.

Spring Fling!  As the PA's largest annual fundraiser and a culminating event for parents, alum, and friends of the school, the Spring Fling is a fun party that happens in early May.

You can get the event dates and see the school calendar here.  If you would like to help with any of these projects or have suggestions, please email pa@princetonfriendsschool.org
