Tuition for the 2020-2021 school year is as follows:
• Pre-K and kindergarten: $28,600
• 1st-3rd grades: $29,100
• 4th-5th grades: $30,350
• 6th-8th grades: $30,700

Tuition at Princeton Friends School covers all books, instructional materials, technology equipment and services, and most activities and field trips. Families, however, should be aware of other expenses that they may incur throughout the year. These include a fee for parent and sibling optional participation in the 1st-8th grade Blairstown Trip, the cost of 8th graders' optional participation in the annual 8th grade trip, and the optional purchase of PFS merchandise.

Financial Aid at PFS

Princeton Friends School offers financial aid to enable accepted students to enroll regardless of their families’ ability to pay the full cost of tuition. While the admissions process strives to create a student body that is ethnically, socially, and academically diverse, the financial aid program allows an economically diverse population to attend the school.

Financing the tuition for a Princeton Friends School education is not always easy, but it is possible. There is no specific income level at which a family is no longer eligible for aid. Financial aid is offered to students on the basis of their families’ demonstrated financial need and provides grants designed to help bridge the gap between what a family can afford and tuition. Our Financial Aid Policy holds more details as well as the financial aid calendar.

Princeton Friends School subscribes to the principles of good practice of the National Association of Independent Schools. Princeton Friends uses the services of TADS (Tuition and Data Services) to process the information from your financial aid application and helps us make fair and objective financial aid decisions.

“I have walked down the Meetinghouse steps many times, often panicking as I’ve contemplated what it would be like to be on this porch, at this moment. Many times the vision would start with me standing before you, speechless, and end with me fearfully running for my life towards the woods. In my last few months at Princeton Friends School I realized it was my 4th grade self running into the distance. I have grown into someone much more courageous than the quiet child I was then.”
-Grayson Shanley-Barr, class of 2014
