Princeton Friends Summer Art Camp is a full day program specializing in art and set in a natural environment. This program features the hands-on enrichment of a specialty camp with the “old fashioned summer” approach found in our day camp. Offering the best of both worlds, this program appeals to younger and older student artists alike.

Campers will spend each one-week session exploring a different technique or medium under the guidance of skilled local artists in the new PFS art studio or outside on our sunny campus. From ceramics to found object sculptures, painting to jewelry making, there is something to intrigue everyone whether beginners or accomplished artists.

PFSC campers will spend each morning swimming at the Broadmead Swim Club. Campers will also be able to spend time creating and playing in our woods, building their own villages out of sticks and twine. Our approach to art camp includes a healthy dose of fresh air.

Parents in need of a longer camp day for their children will be able to register for extra camp. PFSC Extra Camp, which runs from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., features games and activities run by our day camp staff and makes for a relaxing, fun-filled way to begin or end a busy day of art.

Registration for Summer Art - 2011 will begin in February. At that time, you can reserve a place for your child by downloading and printing the registration packet that will be available here.
