Welcome to Princeton Friends School! As you click your way around its pages, I hope you will get a sense of who we are – a small community of children and adults living and learning together in ways that allow each student to be known, to exercise choice regarding curriculum, and to connect with a world of opportunity and interest beyond our Schoolhouse walls.
But to truly get to know PFS, I urge you to visit us in person.
Come see our emphasis on hands-on learning and the wide range of classes we offer. Join us for Settling In on a Friday or for one of the many special dates on the PFS calendar. Enjoy the moments large and small that give PFS its essential character: the first Mandarin classes of our Beginning Schoolers; the discoveries that mark our expansive mathematics program; the creativity of our many arts classes; the community outreach projects we undertake; the poised graduation remarks of our 8th graders, as they prepare to take the lessons learned at PFS to high school, and beyond.
Spend some time with us at PFS to simply feel the school culture that we value so deeply. It's a culture characterized by respect and consideration among adults and children, joyful and rigorous intellectual engagement, and attention to the many dimensions of human experience beyond the strictly academic. I trust that you will know, within minutes of walking through the door, if Princeton Friends is indeed a right fit for your child and your family.
