Founding Head of School  Jane Fremon graduated with a degree in English from Princeton University in 1975 and received a master's degree from Bank Street College of Education in 1978. She came to Princeton Friends School with 12 years of teaching experience in both public and independent schools. Jane has been actively involved in a wide range of professional organizations, including the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools, Educators for Social Responsibility, and the Friends Council on Education. She brings years of post-graduate study to the school through her work with the Lincoln Center Institute for the Performing Arts, the University of New Hampshire Institute on Writing, Columbia Teachers College, and seminars on gender and diversity issues in curriculum development sponsored by the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation and the Wellesley College Center for Research on Women. She currently serves on the board of trustees of the Principals' Center of the Garden State and is president of the board of the Princeton-Blairstown Center.

Assistant Head of School  Nancy Wilson graduated with a degree in English from Wells College and holds a master's degree in English from Simmons College and a master's degree in teaching secondary English from Fairleigh Dickinson University. A founding teacher who works with our oldest students and mentors faculty as well, Nancy came to Princeton Friends School with 15 years of teaching experience in independent schools, including Princeton Day School, where she served as head of the Middle School English Department. Nancy has extended her professional development through work with many organizations, including the Columbia Teachers College Writing Project, the Lincoln Center Institute for the Performing Arts, the National Council of Teachers of English, the Junior Great Books Foundation, the Friends Council on Education, the New Jersey and New York state associations for independent schools, and the Wellesley College Center for Research on Women. A member of the semi-professional a cappella quartet "Cahoots", Nancy also teaches vocal music to all our students, directs our Chorus, and leads the all-school sings that are a Princeton Friends School tradition.

PFS welcomes new and current families to the opening of the 2010-2011 school year with our first annual Hoopla!!! on Friday, September 10th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Join us for games, songs, arts and crafts and other surprise activities. Stay tuned for more details….
